Devin Maeztri

Devin Maeztri is an Advisor at GIZ Sustainable Urban Transportation Improvement Project (SUTIP). She is responsible for transport and environment related activities. Devin graduated from Bogor Agricultural University with a bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture. She later pursued a Master of Environment at the University of Melbourne, under anAusAID scholarship. Her areas of study were development, education, governance, policy and communication, and sustainable cities and regions.

Devin worked for the Peka Indonesia Foundation as a coordinator for school-based environmental education in urban areas.She was later employed to assist in research on food systems and sustainability at the Victorian Eco-Innovation Lab in Australia. After graduating in 2009, Devin was part of a team involved in the development of a grand strategy for the Millennium Challenge Corporation compact programme. She was then a research analyst at the Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University, and also worked as the Country Officer for the University of Melbourne Indonesia Office.

Devin was awarded two scholarships as an exchange student to Japan: the AFS Intercultural Programs and the University of the Ryukyus Student Exchange Program.
